Very Original with some new plastic in the baggage area. Black leather seats. Front seats have been recovered. Generally clean and presentable but not very modern. Rated 7 out of 10.

This plane is very original. It has been hangared all it’s life. The current owner has owned it over 40 years and was flying it less and less. The engine was overhauled by West Star with the 470-50 (520) Horsepower upgrade in 1996. The owner always stores the plane with Camguard in the oil so the cam and lifters have no corrosion from lack of use. Complete logs, no hail, No Corrosion and No damage history. These early 70’s 182’s still have the 7 foot wide steel spring gear on them. This changed in 1973 with the advent of the P model to the 9 foot wide tubular landing gear. The spring steel gear is desirable because of it’s narrower track and therefore higher sterngth and resistance to rough runways and hard landings. Operators of off-airport 182’s favor the pre-1973 Spring steel landing gear.
